Here are some different ideas of ways to display your art prints.
You don’t have to frame prints professionally or at all, here are some different options...

The classic way to display your artwork. A mount adds an extra design feature to your artwork, it also separates the image from the glass and increases the size of the overall picture. In my opinion it also makes the picture look more luxury & expensive.

Wooden hangers are a new, modern way to display your art, photos, posters. They are quite versatile & come in many different sizes, colours and finishes. Etsy is a great place to find them and support small businesses too 👍

Hang on their own or as part of a gallery wall with lots of mismatched prints & frames

The wooden hanger can make art look modern and minimalist but also can look rustic & vintage with a touch of dark varnish & an old map.

Framing your artwork without a mount gives it a more contemporary look, depending on the frame.

The artwork can go up to the edge or some artworks (like mine) have a small white border to separate from the frame.

Hanging your prints with washi tape is really easy and inexpensive. You can buy washi tape from your local craft shop or more unusual options via etsy for £2/3 a roll.

There are a few different ways you can use washi…all the way around, like a frame by sticking the tape neatly around the edges or for a more relaxed look you can just loosely tape the top or the corners, this gives a cool ‘moodboard’ look & can be interchanged and layered up easily mixing art & photos.

The easiest of all the art display ideas as you can just pop it on a shelf/sideboard/mantelpiece/windowsill & style it up with more pictures (with or without frames) books, vases etc

This is a really easy, inexpensive and fun way to display your artwork.
It will work best with an A4 or A5 print…

You will need:
- String
- drawing pins/hooks (to attach string to wall/shelf)
- Pegs (you can buy cute mini ones from craft shops)
- Artwork, photos, postcards etc

These string displays can be hung on any wall, or under a shelf, you can have multiple rows, you can mix in & layer up photos, postcards, faux flowers for a fun, eclectic look.

Take it further:
- Paint the pegs or cover with washi tape
- Use fairy lights instead of string for a more dramatic look
